10 August 2012  Mountain Lion and Gatekeeper, and Periodic Table 5 Preview. Periodic Table 5 Preview is not "signed", so when running under OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion with Apple's default Gatekeeper settings, the software may refuse to run because it is from an "unknown" source. The final version of Periodic Table 5 will be signed. In the meantime, you can open it without changing your Gatekeeper settings by pressing the control key while clicking on the Periodic Table icon, and choosing "Open" from the popup menu that appears. (This action instructs OS X to bypass Gatekeeper for the application.)
